Horses For Sale

From time to time, I’ll list specific horses here, but for the most part the horses live in my sight zone, so if you want an order filled, I’ll try to fill it. Some of the horses are in my care at the farm in Virginia, before they go to their respective trainers and other times I work simply as an agent, working as a liaison for the present owner and future owner. I offer a few select opportunities to own horses with me in partnership, which alleviates some of the risk (for all of us). As respected horsewoman Suzanne Moscarelli (right before she sold Good Night Shirt) said to me, “You’ve got to have wares in your barrow.” Meaning, you need things to sell. I’ve usually got some wares in my barrow. Call me. |

Won his jump debut in Sport Of Kings maiden at Callaway Gardens, beating subsequent Camden winner Dubai Sunday. The 8-year-old With Approval gelding returned in his second start to finish second, beaten a nose, in the Sport of Kings Novice Stakes at Atlanta. Given the summer off, he returned in style to win the Appleton Stakes at Far Hills. In 2010, he finished second in the $30,000 feature at Atlanta and finished second in the $50,000 Marcellus Frost at Nashville. Shares Available |

Virginia-bred 6-year-old is a son of Theatrical and full brother to Grade I turf winner Winchester. A two-time winner on the turf, he finished second by a nose in his jump debut at the Queen's Cup. Sideline by an injury, he returned to win a flat race at Potomac Point-to-Point in 2010. Shares available. |

Half-brother to two-time jump champion Good Night Shirt and stakes-placed filly Story Of A Lion, 4-year-old gelding made his first career start at Blue Ridge Hunt Point-to-Point in a mile and a quarter maiden flat race in May, 2010. Handling everything with ease and aplomb, he rallied from last to win by a length over a Kinross Farm homebred. Under Shirt should make his next start at the major tracks before embarking on his jump career. Shares Available. |
